K-8 Parent Partnership (In Person)

Students select from certificated teacher and contractor-led classes, creating flexible and unique schedules that result in students spending an average of 15-16 hours per week at school. Class sizes cap at 16 students. The program is small, and the community is strong and supportive.

Parents take responsibility as their child’s primary teacher and work with the student’s Learning Plan Counselor to design the parent-led portion of the Written Student Learning Plan. Cascade Learning Plan Counselors are very experienced at supporting families who are new to combining classes at school with curriculum and educational opportunities outside of school.

Cascade supports resource level IEPs. Students with greater need may still consider Cascade. IEP teams will discuss appropriate services to support each student while they are on campus.

Students can transfer into the K-8 in-person program throughout the school year.
