Valentine Exchange & Party!
Tuesday, 2/14 ~ 12pm-1pm in the Cascade Gym
All Cascade students, younger siblings, and families are invited to participate!
What to bring:
50-60 valentines to exchange with fellow Cascadians
Handmade or store bought valentines are both welcome.
Sign your name on the valentines but keep the “TO” section generic or blank.
Non-candy valentines or small candy valentines are both welcome (please no nuts to protect those with nut allergies).
A box or container for receiving your valentines
Decorate your box(es) - Keep it simple or get creative!
The container should be large enough to hold 50+ valentines. Shoeboxes are a great size.
Make sure to include your name on the box
The box needs to have a wide opening for valentines to fit into.
Can’t decorate at home? Box decorating events will be held over lunch on: 1/31, 2/1, 2/7, 2/8 (see newsletter for details).
Consider signing up to volunteer! We need parents to bring baked goods, make/bring playdough, help set up/clean up, and help students at craft tables. Please sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f084da9aa22a4ff2-valentines#/
What to do on Feb 14th:
Come enjoy the party, starting at 12pm! There will be stations for students to make valentines for teachers or family members, snacks, and some other activities.
Drop off your valentine boxes BEFORE 12:20pm.
Between 12:20-12:40 pm, deposit your valentines. Volunteers will give you the “ready, set, go!”
