6-12 Virtual Option students do all their learning in a remote setting. They take asynchronous, on-demand classes delivered through an SPS-vetted learning platform contractor and work independently to complete assignments that reinforce their learning.
Additionally, 6-12 students engage in regular scheduled contact with their mentor and have progress reviewed on a monthly basis.
All types of IEPs are supported in this program. Some students are offered modified coursework aligned to IEP goals and qualifying areas.
Students can transfer in to the 6-12 Virtual Option program up to the ninth week of each 18-week semester.
